Lee Beagley and Anna Siegrot have placed the focus of Mowgli’s famous jungle adventure on the painful period when the adolescent Mowgli must say goodbye to the world of his childhood. In his disputes with the animals, attracted and at the same time repelled by their unconditional love and merciless cruelty, Mowgli searches for his own place in life. He is different now, changed – a man-cub on the brink of human adulthood.
